Automotive parts from EPS

PLASTIMO JSC was established in the town of Samokov, which is 60 km away from Sofia and 10 km away from the winter resort Borovetz, in 1964.

The main technological directions being constantly developed by the company are:

  • expandable polystyrene forming in plates and blocks
  • expandable polystyrene forming of packaging, details for the automotive industry, seals, ceilings plates,  disposable cups and trays for food and drinks
  • production of products and details of expandable polypropylene /EPP/

The high quality of the products and the strict adherence to customer requirements, provided the opportunity for PLASTIMO JSC to begin producing details from EPS for the automotive industry at the end of 2008.

  Five types of details have been developed for the world-renowned German company STOROPACK, working in the automotive field for the RENAULT-DACIA Logan brand.

  Two of the details are made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) used as the basis for the installation of additional materials for the soft upholstery of the car seats - for the driver and the passenger.

  The remaining 3 parts are made of expanded polystyrene (EPS-Neo) and are intended for use in the luggage compartment. These new products won once again a gold medal to the Company at the International Technical Fair Plovdiv-2009.

 

At customer's request, we can produce different products in form and size with dimensions up to 1260/760/350 mm.

The management of technologic process is according to the requirements of ISO/TS16949-2010.

  By 2015 in regular operation is equipment for production products of expandable polypropylene /EPP/. EPP products are characterized by high strength and durability at high temperatures and temperature variations. So far in Bulgaria there  is no other such production and our goal is to continue to develop it.

  Since 2003 the company has been certificated by ISO 9001- 2000 and from November  of 2017  is certificated  by ISO 9001- 2015.

  In the beginning of 2008 the company was certified under OHSAS 18001 “ Occupational health and safety management systems ”

  In the beginning of 2008 the company was certified under ISO 14001” Environment  management systems”. and in November 2017 the new version IS0 14001:2015 was introduced.
